HOW TO MEASURE UPVC DOOR HANDLES

For a new handle to work with your existing lock mechanism, it has to be the correct size. The distance on the diagram below A is referred to as the centres or px size of a handle. If you get this right the handles will fit.

You also have to be aware that the overall length of the new handle must be equal to or greater than the handle you are replacing, so that it covers any marks or holes left by the old handles
