uPVC door locks are often damaged by poor fitting, forcing the door to lock and unlock damages the delicate internal mechanism to break beyond repair.

If the Lock breaks you will need to remove the handles, this will be held in place by two screws on the inside. Once the handles have been removed, withdraw the cylinder from its unit.

Once the cylinder and handles have been removed you are free to remove the main multipoint locking mechanism.
